What is Report and Support?

Report and Support is a simple online tool developed by HR and workplace culture specialists Culture Shift that allows staff and freelancers to report unacceptable behaviour in the workplace including bullying, harassment and discrimination.

We’ve also moved our Everyone is Welcome form to Report and Support so those in public facing roles can report unacceptable behaviour from the public on the same platform.

The system is managed by the People and Culture team.

Who can submit a report?

Staff and freelancers working for the National Theatre can report via the system. That's any member of staff or any freelancer on any contract type, working at the South Bank or any of our locations such as the Green Store or the New Work Studio, or on an National Theatre tour, working on a learning project or tour, or in the West End.

Those working for NT Food and Drink employed by Levy can submit Everyone is Welcome reports about unacceptable and discriminatory behaviour from the public via Report and Support, however to report unacceptable behaviour from other staff such as bullying, discrimination or harassment, they should use the Levy reporting system.

Here is the link to the Levy reporting system.

The NT’s People and Culture department liaise regularly with Levy’s People team, so if a report did get made via Report and Support, we will pass it to Levy.

Are there other ways to report?

Report and Support is just one of the ways to report unacceptable behaviour in the workplace at the NT.

You could speak to your line manager or CSM if you are working on a specific production. Or you could speak to any other manager in your department or to the head of department.

You could also choose to speak directly to the People Business Partner or Advisor for your department. You can find a list of People Business Partners & Advisors and their departments here.

Can I submit a voice note or video instead of filling in the form?

We do not have an option for uploading a voice note or video at present. However this option is being worked on by the system developers, Culture Shift, so we hope this will become an option over time.

Currently the form is set up so that every question uses tick boxes. The only exception is "Tell us what happened" which has a free text box.

However if you would prefer not to write, please put "Contact me" in the "Tell us what happened" text box and we will follow up with you to take details of the issue or incident. Unfortunately this is only available for reporting with contact details as we will need to get back to you.
