We are all part of making the National Theatre a welcoming, inspiring place where anyone can feel they belong. Everyone working at the NT's South Bank venue and London buildings, and on National Theatre projects outside them, should expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We recognise that discriminatory behaviours in the workplace can cause harm and trauma.

Everyone is Welcome is the NT's initiative and policy developed with our public-facing teams to provide a strong system to record, map and challenge harmful and discriminatory behaviour from the public towards those working at the National Theatre.

The Everyone is Welcome form on Report and Support offers a clear process for reporting incidents of unacceptable behaviour from the general public. These reports allow us to not only provide meaningful and timely support to our co-workers, but to also map and analyse trends and in turn identify, implement and measure the impact of preventative actions.

All submitted reports go to the Director of People and Culture, the Head of Visitor Engagement & Operations and the Director of Customer Experience and Commercial Operations.

You can see what happens when you submit your report on this flowchart. (Please scroll down to page 2 for the Everyone is Welcome pathway.)

You can find specific FAQs about Report and Support and Everyone is Welcome on the NT Hub here.
