As part of our commitment to a fair, equitable and inclusive culture at the NT, Report and Support includes questions about the reporter’s personal and protected characteristics. This section is to help us understand the experiences of different groups at the NT. It allows us to identify any disparities, trends, and progress to help better inform the decision-making that shapes our policies and practices.
Please note due to the way the system currently works any monitoring information supplied will be visible as part of a submitted report. This means that the People Business Partner or People Advisor reading your submitted report can see it. Therefore if you are reporting anonymously you can choose to answer ‘Prefer not to say’ to some questions or choose the option to ‘Skip these questions’ entirely to ensure that you are not identifiable from your answers. We have flagged this on the monitoring page on Report and Support.
The NT takes GDPR and confidentiality very seriously and access measures are in place so that only a very restricted number of NT staff will work directly with the monitoring data we collect. Those looking at diversity monitoring data and analysing the type and frequency of reports can only access anonymised data and do not have access to any report details. Further to this as part of good practice, personal data will never be reported on individually and individuals will not be identifiable in any data reports.
How long is data stored on the system?
We will only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil purposes we collected it for as outlined in the Privacy Notice here.
